Over the past 21 years I have played Terry Gilbertson in four mocumentary films. The first three were set in Kings Cross, London and followed Terry on his day-to-day life as a security guard. The most recent ‘Maximum Security’ sees Terry take on a new security advisory role and was filmed at the University of Bedfordshire. It won an award at the Stratford Upon Avon Film Festival!
Terry is a London geezer, and the voice is completely different from the usual RP accent which I record most of my voiceovers in. I get to play with the voice, which is full of glottal stops, word searching and ‘ers’ and ‘yeahs’. Acting Terry is always a lot of fun!
